LTP Hockey 1 – Beginners age 4 and up
Basic balance and skating skills.
Proper way to fall and get up, marching across the ice, proper stance etc.

Backward stance, skating forward, one foot glides, snowplow stop etc.

LTP Hockey 3 – Must have passed Hockey II
Forward C-Cuts, hockey turns, forward slalom, passing, shooting
Wednesdays 4:30pm – 5:30pm

As a registered LTP Hockey 1-4 player, you are
invited to participate in the Learn to Play (LTP) Roller Hockey free of
charge*
The LTP Hockey is scheduled March 23 - June 9, Saturday from 11:00am -
12:00pm and Sunday from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.

Required equipment: Ice
gear will work, except skates. Inline skates will be available for
rental or available in the pro-shop. Inline Hockey Pants are
optional and available in the pro-shop as well.

Learn To Play Hockey

Session 2013C Registration Open!
The next session of Learn to Play Hockey will begin on Monday, May 6th
for levels 1 and 2 and Wednesday, May 8th for levels 3 and 4 and run until
May 1st. This will be a 8 week program. The cost is $160 for the program and is open for LTP levels 1-4.

Learn to Play Hockey. The Cooler Hockey Academy offers 4 levels of hockey lessons for students 4-12 years of age. Students will be instructed by USA Hockey certified coaches with many years of experience in skating instruction.
This Session of LTP Hockey class consists of EIGHT sixty minute lessons. At the end of each class, each group will be playing small area games.

Session 2013C Will Run For 8 Weeks!
Monday Classes will run May 6th, 2013 through July 1st, 2013.
Wednesday Classes will run May 8th, 2013 through July 3rd,
2013.
Level 1 and 2 meet Monday's at 4:30pm-5:30pm
Level 3 and 4 meet Wednesday's 4:30pm-5:30pm |

General Information
The program costs $160.00 and includes a team jersey. All players must have all required hockey equipment & stick. Rental Skates are available for $3.00 per session
In order to participate in the Learn to Play Hockey program, it is highly recommended that 4 year old players completed SAM1 & SAM 2 or be comfortable on the ice.
Learn To Play Hockey participants must have the required hockey equipment in order to play. Beginners' packages are available at the Blue Line Pro Shop. Skates are not included in the lesson cost or the beginner’s packages.
Rental skates are available through the Cooler for an additional $3 per session, or may be purchased in The Cooler Pro Shop, where a trained individual will be able to assist you in sizing your skater. |

Equipment Requirements For Ice Hockey
The following equipment is required for participation in the Cooler Hockey Program and all USA Hockey and USA Hockey Inline sanctioned leagues. All equipment is available at the Blue Line Pro Shop in the Cooler. Click on highlighted items for manufacturer sizing guidelines. The Blue Line Pro Shop is fully stocked and available to help fit these items to the individual player at competitive prices.
Helmet - HECC approved
Full Facemask (HECC approved) - Based on helmet size and make.
Internal Mouth Guard
Shoulder Pads
Gloves
Shin pads
Athletic support and protective cup
Ice Hockey Pants
Stick - Proper height is measured with skates on. Stick should come just under the chin.
Learn To Play jersey is included in the program fees. |
